OUR STANDARD

Evidence before assumptions.

Our database keeps source attribution, direct-deposit recognition and reward issuance distinct. We publish only approved reports.

What counts as a successful report?

We distinguish a bank recognizing a deposit as a direct deposit from a bank actually paying a bonus. These are not interchangeable, and one community report is not a guarantee of future qualification.

How is a report recorded?

Reports are linked to a specific receiving account, sending account when known, observation date, transfer method, and evidence. Offer rules are separately versioned because the same bank may use different requirements for bonuses, account fees or APY.

How is evidence graded?

  • Self-report: user describes the observed behavior.
  • Bank tracker: the user reports an explicit qualification indicator.
  • Reward credit: bonus appears as paid. This does not by itself prove which deposit triggered it if multiple deposits occurred.

How do we handle old and conflicting reports?

Each report retains the original date. Contradictory results can coexist and are not silently rewritten. Duplicate reports of the same underlying event must not be double-counted as independent evidence.

Privacy and permissions

Raw attachments, bank account numbers, contributor identifiers and private moderation notes are excluded from public database queries. We only publish reports with review approval and publication consent. External community posts are not imported without suitable permission.

How to use these results

Historical reports describe specific experiences, not guarantees that a transfer will count as direct deposit today. Check the original source, date, and current bank offer terms before relying on a result.
